Set in North Dorset’s Blackmore Vale amidst spectacular countryside with far reaching vistas of the ancient hilltop town of Shaftesbury, Melbury Beacon and Fontmell Down, Middle Farm is a peaceful retreat away from the stresses of everyday life wonderfully enriched by the hosts’ relaxed and friendly style.

The accommodation is exceptional, providing a recently built ground floor self-contained apartment that has been attractively decorated and furnished for comfort. It has its own private entrance and consists of a double en-suite bedroom; open plan living room with kitchenette and a separate garden room with patio doors opening onto a private terrace. All three rooms are full of charm and character and boast the most breathtaking views!

The Gawler family have lived at Middle Farm since 1947, therefore Trevor and Linda have a wealth of local knowledge and will be happy to help you make the most of your stay in this delightful destination, offering advice and suggestions on attractions, restaurants and pubs within easy travelling distance.

However, guests will not have to travel at all to enjoy North Dorset’s renowned walks: Middle Farm’s surrounding countryside has mile upon mile of footpaths for guests to explore.

As well as being an attractive base for tourists and visitors to the annual ‘Great Steam Fair’ in Blandford Forum, the Farm is also well situated for those wishing to visit their children who are boarding at the regions many public schools.
